Milton Coleman Pastoral Care Library

The Milton Coleman Pastoral Care Library is a small single discipline library centred around the topic of practical theology. It has been designed to assist students studying Clinical Pastoral Education, supervisors, chaplains and pastoral care practitioners. It is open to current CPE students and members of New South Wales College of Clinical Pastoral Education.

Titles held include volumes on the history of CPE, pastoral care, grief and loss, mental health, adult education, supervision, ethics, specialist pastoral care such as end of life, paediatrics, and the development of pastoral care practitioners

The library is housed in the Spiritual Care Services at the Sydney Adventist Hospital. It is open to visit from 9 AM until 2 PM Mondays to Thursdays for in person borrowing. To access the library please ask the personnel at reception at access points from the multi-story car park and they will direct you to Spiritual Care Services.

Books chosen can be posted (or delivered if possible) so please include your postal address when requesting books. The simplest way to request books is to cut and paste title and call number into an email.

You may borrow 6 books for a month. Keeping the packaging and the borrowing slip with make it easier to check your books and pack them for posting back to the library.
